Dijit Media Expands Management Team; Hires Jeremy Toeman and Adam Burg
Smart TV/Digital Home Experts from Sling Media and Rovi Corp Join San Francisco-based Startup
San Francisco, June 23, 2011 - Dijit Media, the creator of the Personal Media Assistant, today announced the company has hired two new executives: Jeremy Toeman, Chief Product Officer, and Adam Burg, Vice President of Business Development. The addition of Burg and Toeman brings key expertise to the company as it expands its business in the rapidly growing Smart/Connected TV industry.

Burg and Toeman come to Dijit most recently from Stage Two, a strategic product consultancy and marketing firm they co-founded in 2006. Stage Two is well known for UX, product, and marketing services, and has worked with consumer electronics and digital media companies, including Boxee, VUDU (acquired by Wal-mart), DivX, Clicker (acquired by CBS), NETGEAR, Best Buy, Electronic Arts and more.
Prior to Stage Two, Toeman was at the forefront of delivering television place-shifting technology to the world at Sling Media. As the company's first Vice President of Product Management, he was responsible for guiding the Slingbox from conception through launch. The product and its successors won countless awards, and EchoStar acquired Sling Media in 2007. Prior to Sling, Toeman was the founding Vice President of Product Management for Mediabolic, acquired by Rovi Corp, where he designed numerous award-winning convergence and digital home devices for top-tier consumer electronics companies. He was also a member of the UPnP Audio/Video Working Group and participated in the original specifications for DLNA.

Adam Burg most recently worked at Rovi Corp (formerly Macrovision) where he was responsible for digital media software licensing in North America with a focus on evaluating and opening new business in the Set Top Box (STB), Cable, and Digital TV (DTV) markets. Burg joined Rovi after it's acquisition of Mediabolic, where he was Director of Business Development and chiefly responsible for many of the firm's licensing deals and partnerships. Prior to Mediabolic, Burg was an early employee at eGroups on the business development team; the company was acquired by Yahoo! in August, 2000.
